Hello my name is Jakob Mosch and I am the manager of Restaurant Flammen Randers. It is with pride that I run Restaurant Flammen Randers in precisely this building in the heart of Randers. The Brewery Thor has added so many stories and pride in this building for many years and it is fantastic to be a part of it in a new way.

We have room for 340 guests of which 76 seats are on a landing where you can sit and enjoy the town's most beautiful view.

The building is from the 1920s and has been home to the old brewery Thor until the company closed in 2003. Since then, the building has been vacant and a little forgotten in Randers until we started the renovation of the large and fantastic premises in September 2014.

Restaurant Flammen Randers opened on 25 February 2015 in the new beautiful surroundings with a nostalgic charm and presence of the Thor brewery.

When you enter Thors Bakke and see the newly renovated building, which before had been a fantastic landmark for the town of Randers, it is a great experience to step over the threshold.  The premises ooze nostalgia and charm from earlier times.

Parking

The restaurant is close to the cinema.

Parking is available on both sides of the restaurant and it is free to park for two hours. If you want to park for longer, you can pay DKK 20 and then park there for a whole day.

We are a Danish, family-owned restaurant chain with a vision that all our guests must be satisfied.

Huge grill buffet

Always 15 kinds of meat on the grill

From American Black Angus to Danish pork as well as the more special venison types such as kangaroo and wild boar stuffed with red deer, which we prepare in our own butchery.

50 varieties in the salad bar

As side dishes, we always offer minimum ten warm dishes, fresh bread, various kinds of butter, dressings and three kinds of sauce.

Starters

We always have a minimum of two kinds of starters; one fish dish as well as the soup of the day.

Desserts

Ben & Jerry's ice-cream, "Old fashioned" apple pie, ice-cream for children - snatch a delicious dessert.

Beer, water and wine

We have sparkling wine, white wine, rosé, red wine, beer and a broad selection of delicious soft drinks.
