Terms and conditions of business and reservations

Our terms and conditions of business and reservations apply to purchases and reservations via our digital services.

Purchases and reservations are defined as

  • Table bookings
  • Booking of party arrangements
  • Purchase of gift cards

The terms and conditions of business and reservations must be accepted in order to complete a purchase or to make a booking. The use of our digital services requires the acceptance of our Personal Data Policy, which is accepted with the use of our electronic services, at the latest at the beginning of the purchasing or booking process.

At Restaurant Flammen we endeavour to protect your personal data – and we aim to process your personal data responsibly, securely and appropriately. The processing of personal data takes place in accordance with the applicable legislation on personal data, including data protection law.

Cancellations and changes to table bookings

Notification of cancellations or changes relating to arrival times, or changes to the number of guests must ideally be made before the confirmed time of arrival. If you have booked a table online, you can via a link in your confirmation email personally change or cancel your booking before the due arrival time. Alternatively, you can contact the restaurant directly.

Gift card

Gift cards can be used in all our restaurants and can be purchased online at www.restaurant-flammen.dk or in the restaurants during opening hours.
A gift card can be purchased either as a physical gift card, which is sent in the post, or as an electronic gift card, which is sent via email.

Payment

Restaurant Flammen accepts payment by Dankort/VISA-Dankort, VISA, VISA Electron, Mastercard and JCB. Payment will only be debited from your account once the goods have been dispatched.
All amounts are in DKK (Danish kroner).

Restaurant Flammen encrypts all its account information using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol. This means that unauthorised parties cannot read your card number or other information during the transaction with PBS.

Delivery

Restaurant Flammen endeavours to dispatch orders received before 16:00 on the same day. Orders received after 16:00 will be dispatched the day after.
Restaurant Flammen uses Post Nord for delivery (unless otherwise indicated). The physical gift card is dispatched as a letter, and will take at least 5 working days to be delivered from when Post Nord receives it at their mail centre. Restaurant Flammen cannot be held responsible for delays at Post Nord. If you do not receive the item, them notify us of this by email at shop@restaurant-flammen.dk
Post Nord also delivers to the Faeroe Islands, Greenland and abroad.

Right of complaint

Goods must be returned to the address indicated. Please note that we do not accept packages sent COD. Goods can also be returned to us by refusing receipt or you can also return the goods to us personally. It is not a requirement, but handling will be expedited if the required information is provided – such as a copy of the order confirmation, registration and account number for your bank account to which reimbursement can be made, copy of any previous correspondence etc.

Right of cancellation

There is a 14-day right of return for gift cards, starting from the day on which they are received. However, it is a requirement that neither you nor the recipient have redeemed the gift card. If you decide to cancel your purchase, you only need to return the goods in the same conditions and quantity as your received them. Once the item has been returned and approved, the purchase price will be refunded to your account within a few days. You must pay the return costs yourself.
We must be notified of any cancellation at the latest 14 days after purchase, and from when you cancel you must return the item within 14 days.

Notification should be sent by email, to shop@restaurant-flammen.dk. In the notification, you should state clearly that you wish to take advantage of your right of cancellation.
Repayment/reimbursement shall be made to the payment card you used for the purchase in the shop.

Data registration

When you place an order with us, you must provide your name, address, telephone number and email.

We require this information partly to be able to keep you informed of the progress of your order and partly to deliver the goods to you. The information is stored securely in accordance with applicable Danish legislation.

All the information we record is handled confidentially and pursuant to the Danish Personal Information Act. As required by the Danish Bookkeeping Act, this information is retained for five years.

The data controller is Flammen DK ApS. All information is stored securely in unencrypted form. Likewise, personal data is sent and received in unencrypted form.

At www.restaurant-flammen.dk, we also use analysis tools to examine traffic data in the form of log files from our website. No information about you personally is stored in this connection.

The aim of this analysis is simply to correct possible technical errors that may cause our customers to receive an error message or similar, and to optimise navigation and operation in the most appropriate way.

Takeaway terms and conditions of business

Ordering & payment

You must be at least 18 years old to make purchases on www.restaurant-flammen.dk.
All prices on the website are stated in Danish kroner and they include VAT.
When you place an order via www.restaurant-flammen.dk, you must provide your name, address, telephone number and email. You can also choose a password, so you can easily log in the next time you shop with us.

You must choose the collection time, form of payment and then complete the payment. You will then receive an order conformation of your order via an email. The amount will be deducted from your account when the order is placed. If you do not want the amount to be debited on placement of the order, you are welcome to pay when you collect your order. When paying with Visa debit or Visa Electron, the amount will be reserved by your bank as soon as the order is executed.

Flammen TakeAway ApS accepts payment by Dankort/Visa-Dankort, eDankort, Visa, Visa Electron, Mastercard and Maestro.

You can get an overview of the orders you have placed by logging in on your user profile after you have created a user profile.
Payments are not subject to credit card use charges or other charges.

Delivery / collection

Online orders must be collected at the selected takeaway address at the latest 60 minutes after the agreed collection time. The collection time will be stated in the order confirmation, which is issued automatically by email with an online purchase at www.restaurant-flammen.dk.

Special terms and conditions

Because of hygiene considerations, uncollected online orders (if still not collected 60 minutes after the collection time) will be disposed of because of food safety at the purchaser’s expense.

No right of cancellation

There is no right of cancellation with online orders made via www.restaurant-flammen.dk. According to customer protection regulations the online purchase of food, drinks and other varieties of household ongoing consumption is not covered by the right of cancellation.
